Our Mission

The mission of Kids Play Gym is to be a leading developmental resource for children and their families by offering inclusive, on-site ABA, occupational, recreational, and speech therapies in a thoughtfully designed play space that encourages physical, neurological, and social growth while fostering supportive relationships with parents, professionals, and community groups.

Our Promise

Kids Play Gym will provide a safe and clean environment with engaging and adaptive play equipment that can be used for free play or therapy services to build physical and social skills of children. Our team will provide inclusive, professional care with compassion to all kids and their families, placing value on supportive relationships and building connections between families and community partners.

Kat Rader

Owner, Executive Director

Kat Rader graduated from Ball State University in 1999, with a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology, Educational Psychology, and Social Work. She has over 25 years of experience working with children, and over 15 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Andy Rader

Owner, CFO, IT, Facilities Manager

Andy Rader has his Journeyman Electrician Licensure, and has been a union electrician for over 12 years. He enjoyed designing and building all of the wonderful equipment that KPG has to offer. Marissa Parr-Scott

Office Manager

Marissa Parr-Scott moved to Bloomington from Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2017. She has been with Kids Play Gym since November 2018. After graduating with a Legal Studies degree in 2008, Marissa has spent her career in family and child social services and has years of experience working with families in many capacities.
