THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 9AM-7PM
This is a holiday that we absolutely love! So, to celebrate we want to show our gratitude and appreciation for YOU, the wonderful families that make up our community! As a local business, we really couldn't do this without you and have appreciated all the support, encouragement, excitement, and kindness that you have given us since our opening in May. So, in order to give back a little and show our gratitude, we will celebrate World Gratitude Day by offering the following discounts for anything purchased that day (and that day only):
$3 off day and visit passes (single, companion, and under-2; originally $10 and/or $8)
$5 off 5-visit pass bundle (originally $45)
$10 off 10-visit pass bundle (originally $80)
We understand a lot of kiddos will be in school (since this is a Thursday), but you are welcome to come in and buy 5- and 10-visit bundles without staying and playing to be used on future play days.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 10:30AM-11:30AM

A presentation, meet-and-greet, and Q&A with John Loveland, MSW. John is the Clinical Director of Paws-Abilities, Inc., which provides service dogs for kids and adults with disabilities. John also has extensive experience working with children with autism, including as a Social Worker and Clinical Director, and was Clinical Director of Loveland Academy, where he supervised about 80 professional staff and 40 children in Day and Residential Treatment. He also holds a professional Indiana Teaching License for Middle and High School. Through Paws-Abilities, Inc., John and his team provide funds for their mission of service dog placement by using funds from their store, where they sell quality dog, cat, and wild bird food and pet care supplies, to provide all services and dogs for free to families who benefit. He also really enjoys training and supporting parents, especially assisting parents with the IEP process in schools. John has extensive expertise in various fields and one of his favorite things is helping families learn skills and access tools to support their child’s development and quality of life. John will be addressing topics including autism, diagnosis and intervention, the IEP process, navigating the school system, service dogs, and more.
As always, ADULTS ARE FREE. If you bring your kids, normal visit pass fees for kids will apply, and your kids will be looked after by Kids Play Gym staff in the play area of the gym while you attend Resource Night in the party room. CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED WITH COST OF ADMISSION.
We are VERY excited to be able to host our first Parents Night Out, November 11th, where we will provide childcare from 4pm-8pm (yes, we will be extending our hours for this event only!) We’ll take care of your kids so that you can take care of you to have some time for date night, self-care, spend time with friends, whatever you want to do for up to four hours while your kiddos play at Kids Play Gym! Families that are not participating in Parents Night Out are still welcome to come and play (until 7PM) as well. In order to attend, because this will be a longer and larger event, children must be at least 3 years old and potty-trained. As always, this will be a sensory-friendly and inclusive event.
We will be showing a movie in our party room for the kids, and you are welcome to send a sack dinner and/or snack for kiddos to eat during the event for dinner & a movie. We will also have all the same fun Kids Play Gym activities and a large group of staff and volunteers (all background-checked) that are all excited to play!
We have a small intake form just to make sure we know a little bit about your kiddo and their needs. The intake form can be found HERE where it can be downloaded and emailed to us or returned in person. We will also have the intake form available at the gym as well.
Once your intake form is completed and sent back to us and you have bought your ticket, we will officially reserve your spot. We will have limited spots so that we maintain an ideal kid-to-adult ratio, so we encourage you to reserve your spot as soon as possible. Tickets are $20 (per kid) and non-refundable.
Although we take a lot of pride in always being inclusive and sensory-friendly, we wanted to have a special night every week that specifically celebrates kids in the community with disabilities and still open for the general public as well.
Although some of our equipment does have weight and size restraints and we are typically geared towards kids 10 and under, we feel that there are some activities here that would benefit older kids with disabilities and sensory processing difficulties. Therefore, on Wednesdays from 3pm-7pm we will up our age limit to kids 15 and under for this one night every week.
